[Crowley shrugs, as if he doesn't really care that she's kind of calling him out.]

I research them and discuss their existence for a living. It's only natural I know so much. Besides, I haven't met a single angel or demon since I came here. And even if they are here, it's not like they're going to kill me over this or anything.

Perhaps not here but where you are from? I would doubt that such discussions are met with appreciation.

What can I say, people are just sometimes too ignorant to know any better. You show them the truth and they react as if you were the one who was responsible for the Spanish Inquisition.

With what you say it could be entirely possible. [ She doubts that you're just a simple researcher ]

You obviously haven't seen the lectures I give. I'm surprised I'm still alive by the time they're over.

They are after they're over.

[Totally lying through his teeth here, he is the farthest thing from a lecturer.]

But hey, the truth is the truth.

Then perhaps I need to rectify the situation and attend one of your lectures, should the opportunity arise here.

...I've given them up here. There's no point when people are from worlds in which the Bible doesn't exist.

Ah. I would have thought such a keen observer would have preferred to educate where information isn't present, such as you have in this case.

I...um, I was bored. That's why I brought it up. No special reason or anything.

I see. My apologies, I appear to have been mistaken.

Yeah, you were.

[A slight frown.] But really, engaging in religious discussion is something that's familiar to me. And something I haven't had for quite a while, now.

Would I be overly presumptuous to believe that you missed it?

Not too presumptious, no.

Yes, I miss it. It's hard to find someone who isn't as dull-witted as most of the people in this place are to talk with.
