As to the title of this post, it contains nothing of particular importance relevant to my life, but it's interesting nonetheless, methinks.
As to the Pyro Night 6 pictures, you can reply to this or IM me anytime and I'll send them to you via e-mail of DirectConnect on AIM.
The two recent occurrences that wanted to share are:
1) I got about 3 hours of sleep on Friday night, because I always stay up late and I wanted to wake up when Leah left for her Chamber Choir retreat so I could cook her breakfast (amongst other reasons). I slept shittily for about two hours later on Saturday afternoon. Have you ever had sleep where you're dreaming but neither asleep nor awake? (If you've ever been on percoset or some similar drug which fucks with your sleep, then you'll understand) amidst upsetting dreams of people I care about getting beaten up was one thing that stood out like a sore testicle:
Sporknod
It wasn't even a dream, but rather a conscious thought I was having whilst half-asleep right before I awoke. I even ran through a few permutations of the given letters in my head (e.g. spornkod) before deciding on sporknod. I think it's an awesome word, and it reminds me of nothing I've ever seen (aside from the obvious 'spork' and 'nod' and 'kod'=cod). Any suggestions as to it's definition?
2) When ordering my meal from Checkers today, I got an amazing response:
Me: Can I get a number 5, small, with an orange shake? Is that possible?
Checkers employee: Anything's possible.
Me: ...
Chess: ...
It reminds me of a response to me parents when they would tell me that anything's possble:
Parents: Anything's possible.
Me: So, I can hold up the entire Empire State Building with my pinkie finger?
I had an amazing justification for how this could be possible, but also not defying the laws of physics. I believe it was something along the lines of preconceptions of absolute physical law as a mental block creating physical limitations. A psychosomatic hypochondria of sorts.
Anywho, I know that last bit was wordy, but I was trying to find the most simple and concise way to say it. So much for an insignificant post- I should really stop prefacing my postings with explanations of their length or content.
