You Have Been Watching - Charlie Brooker's telly programme review cum quiz thing is quite amusing and allows 3 guests (usually comedians) to chip in too. Not as sharp as Screenwipe, of course, but it's fun to see Mr Grumpy get genuinely amused by a random comment.

Good old Heston Blumenthal, scientific chef. He's not all po-faced about it though - his culinary experiments are quite fun and usually bonkers so his latest series is a perfect vehicle. I watched The Trial of Tony Blair yesterday. It was a bit dull really. I see some wag has claimed to be him on Friends Reunited in one of my schools. Except he only left in 1990 apparently.

Caught the making of Kenneth Brannagh's The Magic Flute programme on New Year's Day.
