I got Ike's stone yesterday. It's very, very nice. The pictures on the website I ordered it from really don't do them justice. Reminds me of the colonial headstones, only nicer. If I didn't feel so guilty over putting him down, I doubt he'd be getting this exact treatment, but I do and he is. Hopefully I'll pick up the tree this weekend and get all

Thanks muchly. The worst part was going back into the vet's office, that made me cry all over again; once I left it was better. Now the box is on a table at home, over there ----> , and I'm kinda handwaving it, for now.

Ike's been on top of a bookcase in our "library" for the past year. I had to wait for the hubby to get home from the sandbox before I could do anything with him. It was a long wait. I propped some LOTR action figures around him for what reason I don't know. Seemed like something to do at the time. Made it somewhat easier to go in that room if I thought of the box as a terrain feature. *sigh*
