I'm still offering to write fic if someone can get me three userpic packages for two months. Due to a colossal screw-up at work (the person who was supposed to cover my shift Monday didn't and now he wants to work the day I was supposed to cover for him) and a general shortage of hours, I'm literally only getting paid for six days the paycheck after this, so every scrap of money not being spent on rent/bills/taking my mother and son to See "Star Trek Into Darkness" because I promised this paycheck will be saved to make sure I can pay my phone bill and get my bus pass and pay my rent at the end of this month/beginning of next month. So I would greatly appreciate the userpic packages (and if you throw in two months paid time I'll write you two 1K minimum fics). I hate to beg but like I said, I just got royally screwed over. I'm praying someone will let me cover their shift this Sunday and next Sunday to bring it up to eight days, but I'm not holding out hope.
Anyway, I managed to write two of the prequel stories that aim2misbhave suggested for my "All of Time And Space" series and I went back to my scifibigbang fic and added about 4.3K to it, bringing the grand total to 13,334 words. Just 11,666 more to go and then I hit the 25K minimum! Also, I got challenged to write a story today where Sherlock and Amy take over the world, and I might write that for my other crossbigbang story instead of finishing the "Rory lives with Sherlock pre-series" story. I don't know, though. Doing the new one would make people happy, but finishing the other one would make lotl101 very happy as well. Decisions, decisions...

Her Highness | Sherlock/Doctor Who - Part 5 of "All of Time And Space" | Amy Pond, Sherlock Holmes, Mycroft Holmes | After the "opening the front door and hiding in the closet" prank stops working, Amy and Mels come up with a new plan: Amy will only answer to Mycroft when she's addressed as "Your Highness." With Sherlock's help, it's an unmitigated success.
And seeing as I still have an hour to go, I think I shall continue to work on my scifibigbang fic for the next half hour. Adios, amigos y amigas!
ETA: I also just changed my userinfo graphic here on LJ. Still Doctor Who, but it's not an animated gif. It's got all the Doctors of Nu Who, plus six companions, five of whom I love. Yeah, I'm never going to like Rose, get over it.
