So, before work I decided to go riding, look at wild deer and turkey and such. I rode a trail and over a seemingly tame mudhole. Unfortunately the mud was thigh deep and I was stuck for a good thirty minutes. The quad I was using is relatively small, which means it's not as strong as my 450! I was covered from waist down in mud and it was freaking foul smelling. I have such bad luck! It's really unfortunate how all of these young quad riders have dug this place out with their ATVs. Two years ago the trails looked untouched really and now there knee to thigh deep ruts everywhere. Fucking kids always fucking up everything-- it will be a matter of time now before the authorities post this area off. To top that off my
quad needs another bath; just have it one yesterday, lol.
Well, on the bright side I did see a few deer and one turkey. It's odd, the deer seem to get more and more trusting of humans every time I see them. They simply don't even run
anymore. With all of the idiots in this area that can be a problem. A few weeks ago when I was in the woods I saw a buck with a gun shot in his leg. What the hell-- there's nowhere even remotely close where you can even hunt!
GRAH!
