[Just another January 5th loop, only now it brings a new face. The video starts to record and at first all that it shows is a closeup of a teenager's face. After a second it zooms out as the operator realizes it is too close to his face. He looks apologetically at the camera]
Sorry about that, I'm not used to these things. [pause as he realizes he doesn't know why he's talking to the phone and broadcasting this...was there a point to this post? He shakes his head] Hi, I'm Jason. I just got here but that might be pretty obvious to some of you. I was told this is a good way to make contact with people who are stuck here so I figured I didn't have much to lose.
[another pause as he looks up. he's clearly outside right now and the sun is setting fast, Jason looks like he might be listening for something but returns his attention to the camera on the phone again]
I don't understand who or what brought me here. I figured there would have been some sign by now if it was the---someone I knew. Granted, I've run into a lot of monsters but that's not really new...though I was a little surprised when the people with me saw them too. Speaking of which...[face becoming more serious and alert] I'm pretty sure something is---
[suddenly the camera whirls around as Jason does a spinning kick and manages to knock back a mysterious assailant. Jason turns to face said opponent and the camera captures the image of what appears to be a knife before Jason shuts it off]

[several minutes will pass before the video feed starts again, Jason looks sweaty and hyped from a fight but is otherwise fine. He also looks maybe a tad embarrassed]
Does anyone know where I can find some clean pants...or possibly a trick to getting blood out of jeans? Also recommendations for where to find swords or longer blades would be appreciated. [joking now] I understand you probably won't have a local forge or something but I'll take what I can get in the armaments department.
