Mmmm pretty!
Last night
gwacie showed me the finished neck embroidery for the 12th century tunics the needleworker's guild is doing for TRH's stepping up. Very pretty! I'm feeling much more enthusiastic about the bit of sleeve I'm supposed to be working on :-) (If we're all very nice and lucky, maybe she'll post pictures of the embroidery *flutters eyelashes hopefully* ;-) ) It makes me want to pull out one of the three 12th-13th century project boxes I have and do an elaborate T-tunic for m'self too! (I've got project boxes for the Maciejowski stuff, one for a Codex Manesse outfit, and one for a bliaut a la Chartes Cathedral)... elaborate detail work may be a major pain to do, but the results totally make this kitty purr! :-) )
