NYE
heyyy..i'm sitting in the library at UT on like the ONLY public computer..they discriminate. anyway, today was the first full day here. we drove for 6 hours yesterday, got here, and settled in to our dorm which is *hot*. me and britt brought all this crap to decorate with so now it really looks like we're in college and we live there. haha..i love it. we don't get a lot of free time :-/. last night we went to the welcome and worship which lasted forever and a day, and.. it sucked. the other miserable thing about this is that we have to walk everywhere we go..and it takes about 20 minutes just to get to worship and lunch etc. last night me and brittany got in trouble for our excessive cell phone use during activities. woops. i can't help it. but today i tried to limit myself, yeah right. anyway, this morning i went to my first workshop called "call waiting." it was about answering the call to ministry and seminary and "inner conflict" about your call. it was great; i think i'm going to be keeping in touch with one of the seminary ladies that lead it, she was so nice. after that was lunch with brittany and back to the dorm for a little time wasting. i just got out of my afternoon workshop that had no meaning and was dumb, no need to describe it. we have free time till 7 with supper in between. there's a strip with a walgreen's, wendy's, mcdonalds, and some stores. i think we might go down there for supper or just to get some more crap. i really do like this whole thing, but i am not up with the worship, it's just SO hokie and fake. i can't explain it but i just get nothing out of it. you should see all the people here..it's weird. i think the number is 3600. this is a loong update. britt is waiting for me in the room so we can go shop, i might update again, seeing as how i can't separate myself from the computer for long. this is so fun i feel like i'm in college ffrrreal. OH YEAH..who called britt's phone today and was like, "hola!!"????
