2nd room done
FINALLY, I finished the living room.
I feel kinda guilty cos I was supposed to visit my mum this weekend, but I just had to get it done. The fact I'd been in the flat over a month and I still hadn't finished the living room was pissing me off to no end.
Also, I finally unpacked! Well, mostly. I am down to just 4 boxes left, but those are all full of 'computer bits' and will probably end up being left in boxes, so I'm counting myself as unpacked! Yay!
So, here's some pics. Firstly, 3 of the living room I just finished. Well, the door into the hallway is 'missing' cos I've had to take it off due to the new floor being thicker - I need to cut some off the bottom of the door before I put it back on. You can see the unfinished hallway through the door, complete with the exposed cabling. But ignore those. Also, the pine/white 'chest' you see in the pics is a placeholder for the sofabed which won't be arriving for another 5/6 weeks.
And here's the bedroom I finished a few weeks ago. The thing on the bed is the D-lock for my bike.
So, just the hallway (floor), 2nd bedroom (floor, walls & building a patch panel) and kitchen (floor) left to do, and I'm hosting a LAN party in my flat on the 9th-11th December, which is only 6 weeks away...
