BEST LIVE MOMENTS
No, I'm not going to fangirl squeal here over some of the more fun, fanservice-y moments that my favorite bands have recorded while onstage. (Although I could, LOL!) These three moments are the ones that truly touched me--the ones that made me feel like weeping for joy and being proud that I am a fan of this band. And better yet, they are moments where I was genuinely happy the band members themselves got to experience that moment. Live.
Bass and Drum Jam @ Budokan Martial Arts Hall (Alice Nine, 2011)
I've used this clip before, but for me, it was unforgettable. This is the first time you really get to see what musicians these guys are. And the bass. Dear Lord, the bass!!
Star[K]night Encore @ Budokan Martial Arts Hall (Nightmare, 2008)
This is the moment that makes every Nightmare fan get a little misty-eyed. Not only is the band at the top of their game, but so are the fans. Listen to how the fans in that arena take over the song and return it as a tribute to the band. You can see how moved the boys are by this. And even after the band has long left the stage, the fans continue. Awesome.
Buriki no Hata Encore @ Hibibya (Kra, 2008)
Here's another wonderful moment where the fans take the song lovingly offered by the band and return it to them tenfold. Fans and band become one in a very special moment that no one should forget.
