Hola! Bonjour! Konichiwa!...
Alright, there was my little trip around the world. Unfortunately, thats as close as I'll probably ever get to any of those countries.
Yay Ferris! Yesterday, my mom and I (along with Kary Sabo and Monica Fox) took a trip up to Ferris yesterday, for quite a number of reasons. (1)To see the wonderful Jessica Long of course... (2)Kary is planning on attending Ferris next year and she wanted to check out the campus and what not... and (3)My mom went to Ferris for about four years right out of high school. It was a fun day. Besides the meetings and stuff for Kary. Jess and her suitemate gave us a tour of the campus, somewhat anyways. Gracias Jess. We got to experience campus food. Yum! I had actually ate at that cafe some time ago. It's not bad. We had dinner at Burger King...Oh, and took a short trip to Meijers so Jessica could buy yogurt (which ended up being 10 yogurts, a box of oatmeal, and a box of granola bars). yeah, I think you've got breakfast for a while Jess. :) So we left Ferris at about 6 or 7ish. Which brings me to my next piece....
I hate the time change!!! I wake up in the morning thinking I've slept in for hours, when in reality, i find out it's only 7:30! Gah! Then, when it's 7:30 p.m., my mind thinks it's like 10:00 p.m. I hate it!But...All the time change crap is good for something:
Halloween. This year was the first year since I was about 5 that I went trick-or-treating in town. Yeah, my mom usually takes me and whoever else (usually a cousin) out in the country every year. We get TONS of candy. Two years ago, I got 17 lbs. Yeah, I guess it's safe to say this year was a bit different. I went trick-or-treating in town with Miller, Monica, Nicole Kelly, Angie, and Kirscho. Miller and I were ninjas; Nicole and Monica were pirates; and the best were Angie and Kirscho: gorillas. We had fun. My mom put me through quite a guilt trip the days leading up to Halloween though, with phrases such as "Are you sure you want to go in town this year?" "What am I going to do all night? I'm gonna be stuck at grandma's house all by myself watching TV in an empty dark house." (note: my grandma lives right around the corner, and she had to work that night.) and "I'm going to miss taking you out in the country." Well, she finally ended up walking around town with my neighbors.
Alrighty..and finally, for all you quiz bowl nerds and followers out there, Here is an update:
We have had 3 meets so far, and I'm pretty sure JV and Varsity have the same record so far. There might be one difference, but I'm not sure. This past Wednesday we went to Bentley. The JV played Powers, Linden, and Lake Fenton. How ever did we get so lucky? (sarcasm intended) Obviously, Powers and Linden kicked our ass...and we did the same to Lake Fenton. But yeah, that's how this year is going.
So, that's all I have to say for now. Oh yeah, I am now a member of the LakeVille Chapter of the National Honor Society (aka: the Non-Human Society) WooHoo!!
Laterz all!!
Mucho Loveo~
