This is an example prompt (though do fill it people, please!). It is very simply a request to stick Spuffy in a cocktail bar, the more obtuse and botanical the better - or else the more kitsch and ridiculous the better. Pls pls. (Although this is not a fest about filling for people, we all know that people buy from people, and so begging is welcome.)

Oh, Quin, I like your fic! Those cocktail bars are so silly. Although I kind of like the sound of this Seven Smokes a Goat now... Why do I have no tequila? Or cocoa?

So, courtesy of my attempt at tumblr, I was enchanted by this gifset. And the exchange:

SPIKE: You wanna slip away for a minute, luv?
BUFFY: What?
SPIKE: I'll let you blow out my candles.
BUFFY: Here. Now? I don't think so.
SPIKE: Oh, what, you worried about Richard? You don't wanna make your new boyfriend jealous, huh?
BUFFY: (grinning) Shut up. He's ... sweet.
SPIKE: (teasing) "Oh, shut up, he's sweet."
BUFFY: Maybe he's not the jealous one.

Spike looks surprised. Buffy moves past him and away.

SPIKE: You think he'll take you out on his ten-speed, pet? (to himself) Maybe he'll let you ride in that little basket in the front. (scoffs) Jealous my ass.

I think there should be some sort of development of this, somehow.

I've seen in fics the idea that Spike and Buffy walk so that each covers the other's weak side. it makes sense, but I never considered whether it was canon. But on page 4 of your Tumblr, there's a gifset of Spike and Buffy walking side by side, and it seems to be true. (Even when they were technically enemies in S2!)

Ooh! I really like it! I love all the scratchy noise (finally a decent use for that filter). Shame it isn't longer though (I know, the rules, the rules).

Yaaay! And I'm very fond of the noise as well - the footage of S7 especially was all too golden and shiny for the song on its own. When I first started looking at the clips, I wanted to do glitchiness with lots of slowing and speeding up, but it didn't work (I think because the tempo was too fast for it to make sense).

If it were longer I think there would have to actually be a reunion, which is a whole business with eye-lines and hardcore AU vidding techniques which I think for me are always going to be better in people's heads... ;) Plus now there is time for more! I could watch The Grudge past 8 minutes in or whatever it is.
