Just a short note and a few pics about our wedding day on saturday
It was fantastic - even though it rained 100mm in mclaren vale over the weekend!!!
We were supposed to have an outdoor ceremony which was a total washout.. but that was all cool - woodstock were FANTASTIC and we had the ceremony on the mezzanine level in the reception.
I was so numb the whole day, unemotional and cool, relaxed etc until i stepped out of the car and then started bawling.. it was ridiculous!!! My bridesmaids started dancing all silly to try and calm me down but it wasn't working - people were looking over the balcony and saw me lose it.. so i just told the girls to walk up the stairs...
As I walked up i tripped over my dress so not only was i crying i was also laughing - apparently dad was all teary too - and half the guests!!!!
I ended up getting myself back together by the time i saw my boy - who was also teary and then i apologised to the 100 odd guests and they all laughed - that helped me lots Smile
The reception was fantastic - we got pics on wine barrels - there wasn't anywhere i wouldn't go or stand on, so i think the photographer loved us.. no professional pics as yet - will be ready in about 2 weeks - but here are a couple of pics
