Sleep is a failure. Persistent distressing dreams are also a fail. Strange feelings of skittishness are just odd and irritating. Right, recently I've been massively noncommittal towards revision, went to Aberdeen for East-meets-West family time experience and discovered that boxed dyes do not bleach out well at all.

Fortunately, my hair now does this when blow-dried so until I get the red in, I'm amused.

Still got that fucking essay to do that makes the academic part of my mind run and hide. Come on. 600 words to go and referencing will be a breeze. So, it's been about a month since I last updated. Again. Testament to how terrible I am at keeping up with this sort of thing, really.  Holy crap second year is so much work! Or it could also be that I'm actually going to lectures this year, doing the reading, revising and whatnot. Still, so much work! Bloody 9am-6pm days. Need to get essays done in order to achieve finished-essay related high levels of satisfaction. Work cutting into martial arts, social and flat-things time.

Okaaay... so maybe the Chinese exam went ridiculously well after I stopped being so damn nervous and realised that it's Chinese bloody 1 and I speak the language better than I have to for the exam!
