Aiden was snuggling with me on the couch.
Aiden: You're hot.
Me: Yes. I. Am! Thank you.
Aiden: You are one hot mama. (winks)
Kids getting older is so cool. Especially when they are nice to you.
Oh, also when they do the laundry.
For about 6 months the boys have had jobs around the house. One job is taking laundry from the third floor down to the laundry room on the bottom floor. A few days ago Aiden told me he knew how to actually do the laundry, just from watching me. He now loads the washing machine, starts it properly, and when it's done he goes back down and puts everything in the dryer. Then he pulls all the clothes out into a basket for me to fold.
Finally! Having kids was worth it.
