So yeah, it's been a while.

I've been keeping relatively busy with computer games and jigsaw puzzles, but life around here is boring as fuck. I've still been having some problems with driving and being away from my house, which is really hindering my social life, but I feel like it's getting a bit better.

It definitely wasn't better enough, though, for me to feel comfortable with the idea of driving to my grandparents' home in Wisconsin for Thanksgiving. So, I was planning on staying home to watch a James Bond marathon on television, but my plans were foiled by my mother. Well, not so much 'foiled' as 'changed', I suppose. She told my aunt Karen that I wasn't going with them, and I was promptly invited to a Thanksgiving dinner with her family. I helped cook all morning, we ate, and then I made cookies with my cousin. It was very nice, actually. And, I mean, I love my grandparents but things can be really awkward for me around them.

Anyway, it was really nice, despite the fact that it lacked any amount of James Bond.

As for Black Friday, I wasn't planning on going out at all. But my parents -- my dad, at least -- feel that I should get out of the house at least once every day. So we went to the bookstore, and I bought a new Joni Mitchell cd and Cunt, by Inga Muscio. Awesome, awesome book. I absolutely love it.

My plan for the next two days is to get my room clean. I think that I'm getting close.
