An old buddy on TV soon...what are the odds?

I just heard from my mom, that one of my oldest friends - Thad - whom I last saw in 1995, will be a contestant on one of my favorite game shows, Merv Griffin's Crosswords. He went to auditions, apparently nailed the interview, and was booked on a future taping. Our mothers met when we were both newborns in the hospital. He had CF, and I had my heart problems. Thad still suffers from time to time, but he's currently studying for his doctorate in grad school, and I hear he's got a great girlfriend. So he's making the most out of life, which is good. I watch the show every day, so I look forward to seeing him soon. Once I know details of the air-date, I'll post it here.

Not much else happening, but I'll be busier next week, so I'll have hopefully more later :)
