Hey everyone. Well, it's finally cooled off down here to a Florida Fall. Which, of course, equals a Northern Springtime. Not too hot, not too cold, just perfect. This Saturday, we all converged onto pop's house for a dinner of defrosted Boar sausage. After dinner, and the end of Bicentennial Man on STARZ, dad, Bob and I went to the mall to do some early Christmas shopping. I walked into the Apple store, and after looking around for ideas, I was relieved to see that - by a wide margin - I was not the biggest geek in the store. At best, I'm a wrestling fan/dork, but that's as far as I go - lol :)
So yesterday, my dad, sister and I have brunch, and then go see the new Denzel movie, American Gangster. After walking in at the tail end of the previews, the movie starts, and about two minutes in - the film breaks. By the time someone alerts management to the busted reel and tangled projector, we're informed that it will take a while for the movie to restart (from the beginning), but in the meantime, the manager comes out to hand each of us a free pass for another visit, and offers us free refills on soda and popcorn. It was about a thirty-minute wait, on top of a three-hour movie in itself (which was excellent), by the time I got home, it felt like a full day of activity. I must say - however - that Cobb Jupiter 18 management sure knows how to satisfy its patrons! :)
That was my weekend, and it's been a great week so far. The excitement of knowing I'm going to WrestleMania hasn't faded, so I'm feeling pretty good right about now. Back later.
