Christmas kicked ass. My sweetums got me a Canon PowerShot SX100. It's pretty fancy; its 10x optical zoom, small form factor and quick boot-up time all make me happy. Expect lots of close-up pictures of the most random things like puppy paws, my nose and whatever wildlife happens to saunter out of the woods. I was also presented with delicious gifts from other family members. Highlights include four most excellent Xbox 360 games: COD4, Mass Effect, GRAW2 and Assassin's Creed. WOOOOO!!! WOOOOOOOOOooOOoOoOOoooOOO!!!!!
Sweetums and me received a Waring single-bottle wine cooler from her mum. It has seen much use so far... we've been drinking a lot of wine lately. I loves me the Moscatos! The Wine Room in Winter Park is our favorite weekend getaway. We love it lots. Oops, off topic; back to the Christmas stuff. We were also given a fancy knife set that is apparently really expensive: Wusthof Knifes at Amazon. Wowzas indeed.
On the giving side, I surprised Mrs. Sweetums with a 12-Bottle Wine Cellar. It is totally sweet. I set up little notes all over the house and made her go searching for the present on Christmas morning. Best presentation ever!

Tomorrow marks the beginning of my "Turkey Adventures from October 2007" posts. They will last about two weeks and should consist of one entry per evening. My story is based on the trip I took to Turkey in late October 2007. It will be fully based in reality and adorned with as many pictures as possible, even if they are low res phone pics.
