Open call for readers

So...instead of posting about my assorted medical woes, I'm going to make a happy entry!

I'm looking for readers for my Vashtia story. Up until about two nights ago, it was untitled. Now it has a very very rough working title of The Legacies of the Crowned (with a potential prequel called The Legacies of the Eagle as a possible future project as well, but I won't get into that here.) I say very rough because Amazon has a book called The Crown's Legacy, and that's a bit too close for comfort. Besides, the Legacies idea only came about when I thought I wanted to have a prequel with a similar name, but I'm still not sold on that idea. I have to finish the first before I can do that, after all!

All that aside, the real reason I'm making this entry is because I need (ok, want) people willing to sit down with my drafts as I crank them out at my nice, slow pace, and offer advice, critiques or even general bashes on everything from the characters, the plotline, and yes, the title.

I'm looking for two kinds of readers. The first are blind readers who get the second draft material only. I won't answer any questions related to the plot unless it's something that I didn't clarify well enough in the story, and thus something that I'll change. In other words, blind readers get to read the whole thing the same way they read a normal book, without the benefit of having the last page to look at in advance. The other kind of readers I need are informed readers (preferably with some English or Creative Writing background) who will have access to my brief plot summaries and more detailed discussions regarding my plans, as well as explanations about which segments are -really- out of place versus which ones will become important in the future.

For either kind of reader, I can't promise any rewards expect the possibility of being mentioned on the "Thank you! You're the greatest!" page that almost every novel has these days, and maybe a signed copy of the book as well, assuming it gets published.

Send applications via whichever method of communication you normally use.
