Coffee Snob
While having breakfast this morning (along with my coffee), i came to the realization that the coffee sucked.
Before college I never really cared much about coffee and Starbucks was as good as gold. But then I came here and realized there was more to coffee and more than Starbucks. I think college is that time in peoples' lives when they realize that coffee is more than a "picker-upper", its also a pleasure. There's a billion types of coffee with a billion flavors and a billion brews! (I didn't know what a brew was until college, fyi). There are choices! much to my amazement.
It's funny, If i see folgers or some general brand, I can't help but grimace and think of the muddy after taste. The school coffee sucks too, I don't care if its fair-trade...not liking it. But i guess it also depends on the way we drink it and all the crap we put in it.
I think Im a coffee snob. I'll take what i can get, but nothing will really satisfy me as much as Brazilian blends or Italian blends (btw, I tried an amazing one last week, i have to find the name of it).
Oh, and Starbucks isn't legit coffee!! So i think I'm done buying from them, unless someone buys for me =]
