Break My Heart and I'll Slap You!
NEWS' Sakura Girl PV is the topic of this entry. After watching it for the first time, I asked myself "Why did Ryo get slapped?" I understand with the other boys, they got their hearts broken and got dumped. Did Ryo break the girl's heart first?
- "I'm sorry that I cheated on you."
-SLAP! "We're over."
Ryo and that playboy reputation he's gotta keep up, lol. I do wish it was him that opened the PV instead of Tegoshi. Ryo's tears are much more beautiful. Plus, as a Ryo fangirl, I have to complain that his scene was the shortest! But I also have to say that Shige's break-up scene was my favorite. It was face-to-face; not by text or a letter. The more mature way to end things. Overall, it was just an okay PV. They've gotta mature sometime, right? I mean, they've got scenes with girls now, lol.
There are 4 things that I like about this PV:
- Fluttering cherry blossoms. That's probably my favorite thing about Japan.
- Ryo's "walking" outfit. That soft pink shirt and that olive green pants. Love the color combo. Matches the sakura theme so well.
- Ryo's thick eyebrows! This PV is so worth saving for that! The long hair, thick eyebrows. It's like the Cherish PV, which was the PV that made me a Ryo fan in the first place.
- Ryo getting slapped. I questioned why but that doesn't mean I didn't like it, hehe.
