Long day
Today I had a math conference a few hours away, so I had to get up at around 5-6 am in order to car pool. That wouldn't be too bad, but I was up until 2 am getting programs downloaded on the laptop that I needed to be able to TeX something up that I need for the analysis seminar I am giving on Tuesday.
The conference was alright; definitely not the best and maybe in the running for the worst. I did enjoy a few of the talks and actually understood things, so it is making me feel a bit better.
We got back here at around 9 pm, and I headed straight to a friends house about 30 minutes the other direction from where I live than where we had been earlier to go to a UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) party that he was hosting. I just got home a little bit ago (probably around 3:30 am), so I am very very tired. I should sleep well tonight.
It feels like a whole lot more has happened in the last few days, but I guess either I have summarized it in the above sentences, or I am too tired to remember right now.
