I have a new home!
It's been an eventful week. I spent the past few days in Spokane/Cheney with my mom looking for an apartment for school. I found the perfect one! It's two blocks from campus, small (but bigger than any other place I've had), and the landlady is wonderful. I'm really excited to move in in September. I'm sad to leave my friends here though, especially Joe. I think it'll be a good thing to move away from him though. Our friendship has never been what I really wanted, and I don't think he's very satisfied either. I have a tendancy to get really emotional...like, last night I totally freaked out over nothing. It was such a waste of time. Especially since I only have two months left here, I'm really committed now to cherishing each day. No more wasting time being upset about stuff. It's like I have this deadline to get the perfect friendship/relationship with him. I know that's not healthy, or productive. I'm happy to be getting away from that. I'll go to Eastern and find boys who actually want to date me. And people who make some kind of effort to see me. That would be really great.
