A packed Thursday
This morning, when the alarm went off, I had to quickly change it to CWR, who had a presenter live from the Clothing Coventry warehouse! It was beautifully done and they made me so proud of Katie and so proud of the charity she's built from scratch.
The boy was still off school today. The welfare officer rang and I did convince her that he was actually ill. He's a lot better now though so definitely in tomorrow. We've got a meeting with the school to go through absolutely EVERYTHING based on a stroppy email that Katie sent, so it should be a good meeting.
Lunchtime wasn't quite as fun, I had a dentist appointment to get fillings. That was tough even though I knew it was coming. I found out that genetically I have soft teeth, so I need to take extra care of them. It would have bene nice to know that before now.
Eldest's singing lesson was cancelled because our friend the singing teacher had a bit of an ordeal last night. Her daughter's prone to fits and had one last night, but she doesn't remember it. Her sister got worried so I passed on the young carer's group details.
Work was good today. Got loads done on an internal suite of reports I've been working on. I'm hoping to do loads more over the next few days on it too.
Tonight I had to be the responsible one at table tennis club. They're a good bunch of kids. I'm happy to go more often if needed.
That's about it really. I'm craving hot chocolate but we haven't got enough milk in!
