The psychiatrist at the facility where Kelsey is now actually has a decent head on his shoulders. My dad met with him and her social worker today. The psychiatrist says that Kelsey is not bipolar, nor is she in any danger of suicide. The meds that her therapist had sent her home with are apparently something new that the drug companies are pushing ( Read more... )

My little sister is in the hospital too, or more specifically, the psych ward. She told her therapist that she was thinking of hurting herself.

I wasn't even aware that she had a therapist. Neither was my dad until today when he had to drive her because my mom was out of comission.
