Progress...

Oh, how I hate end-weaving. I STILL haven't done the finishing work on the Rainbow Blankey, or Skullyette, which I finished almost a week ago. All those ends... ugh. Especially on the skulls, there are like, 10 tails on each skull, plus the raglan seams, the sleeve seams and the collar. I will get around to it eventually, like maybe when the temperature drops below 70°... which might happen in the next month... maybe.

This is the first year I've really looked forward to autumn, because it means I get to wear more of my knit items.

I'm making good progess on the Scoop Cardi. The back and left front are finished, and I'm about 1/3 of the way finished with the right front. The 4x4 ribbing is really scrunching up, and I'm starting to worry that it will be tight and unflattering around the middle, but I'll have to see how it looks when the plackets are added and when it's seamed and blocked. It's really too early to tell, but I'm still just a little concernet. I guess I could give it to Monica, as we're about the same in the bust, but she's smaller around the middle... We'll see I suppose.

I've got the pattern for Rogue, too. I'm definitely leaning toward Cascade 220 for it, since it comes in every color known to woman, but I can't decide what color. Should I go for superwash? I haven't washed a single garment yet, because I always wear an undershirt and I'm careful not to spill, but they're getting a bit unpleasant. I'm ok with washing them, but I'm worried about drying. There's just no flat, well-ventilated, clean and cat-proof area in the apartment. We've finally started working on the back room, I suppose once that's clean I can make some kind of drying rack and then just close the cats out of that room...
