Darrell (cheerfully): You can relax!

Me: Really?

Darrell (measuring out salt): Yup!

Me: ...You don't want me to pitch in?

Darrell: Nope!

(he looks over at my quizzical expression)

Darrell: You look confused.

Me (smiling): Yes, a bit.

Darrell: Don't be confused.

(he grabs the curry spice)
