I never dream of orca whales

but I did dream about a one-eyed owl. Except he did have two eyes, you just couldn't see one unless you looked at him from the front. From the back, it looked like a hole that went right through his head. He was just sitting in the middle of a grassy dirt road/path thing. If you aren't from the country you probably can't even picture that. Oh well. It was creepy though, and yet I think in the dream I wasn't creeped out at all. I also dreamed it was July 1st, and I was surprised that time was slipping away at a faster pace then it seemed like it should have been. But it's June 19th.
I feel like going back to bed, but I can't, so I won't. I ought to shower soon, and I can, so I will. Wasn't I going to get up at 9 and spend some time studying biochemistry? Well sure, but who wants to do that on a perfectly lovely Tuesday? Not this girl.
This week just exhausts me. Tomorrow I am babysitting from 8-5ish, Thursday summer school begins and then Corrie is coming (see my excited face? oh no, you can't.) and then there's 20something, then Friday with her doing whatever we wanna do, then home to my other home. The family is throwing Rara a surprise 70th birthday party. But here's the trouble: he's turning 69, he doesn't like to be the center of attention, and he doesn't want to do anything for his birthday. Yep, sounds promising. Plus, what do we do next year when he really is turning 70? My aunts are great, but sometimes I wonder why they do the things they do. There will be a man at the party playing Elvis music though, and Elvis music can be fun. (Taft was)
Kids should not poop in the pool. That's basically all I have to say about that, because the rest is just gross and nobody wants to read about it...but until they're MY kids, that is not something I want to have to deal with.
I need to go to the bank. No, I need to take a shower. Can't go anywhere if I don't take a shower. That's what I'll do then. A shower.
