Week Five: There were plenty of romantic moments for Edison and his twin sister. Britta decided that she need to be romantic as well, so she quickly got hitched to her younger beau, Skylar, while becoming an elder herself. Business slowly but surely is getting better at the family flower shop. Angie headed off to college while Edison decided that he wanted to simply finish high school and then just enter the adult world.
small event: Collecting Hobby - start a collection of some sort
big event: nothing - the week goes on like normal
Yeah, Skylar, I don't think Britta wants more children - nor can she even have children at all, since she's now an elder.
Yeah, see, this is what she wants, not children. Too bad.
Plants is the object of our little collection - let's see if it actually grows at all.
Britta!
Britta: Hmm, I wonder what's on the TV that we don't own.
It didn't burn down, luckily.
Britta: It's nice being married again. I hope this one doesn't cheat - I don't think anyone would miss him if this one went missing...
Britta has gotten scary in her old age.
Look at Skylar trying to be a good husband and not get knocked off
I think this cake is left over from someone's birthday. Either that or Edison just needed something to cheer up his day. School i shard, you know.
What did you say to him, Britta? Did you tell him that he wouldn't be missed?!
Anyway, Britta is at her flower shop again, and look who showed up - Edison's twin, Angie!
Britta is quick to find her and talk about how college went for her and her continued relationship with her wonderful girlfriend. She does want children, after all...
Angie: Um, could we not bring up children already?
Britta, making people uncomfortable all the time.
Skylar is feeling better, as is the business - Rank 4 FTW!
Skylar and Edison attempt to bond when he gets back home. After all, Edison has never really had a father figure in his life.
Hmm, what did happen to his father after he left them? Britta? Britta?!
The blue boys need to get a room that isn't the public living room where his mother and stepfather probably also are.
Edison approves.
THIS IS STILL A PUBLIC ROOM AND THIS IS SO MUCH WORSE!
The world hates Edison, apparently.
Max Day hates them and their invisible paper, apparently.
What is with random townies and their unfounded need to steal papers?
Edison would much rather bond with his mother than his stepfather.
Um, Britta? Your son is growing up. Britta?
Edison: I'm big now!
Britta: Man, you're a good kisser - I guess you can stick around.
Edison: I'll let that guy know how I feel about him distracting my mother from my birthday!
Britta: What was that, sweetie?
Edison: Um, nothing...
Graham? You should not be showing up here!
Especially not with your son! At least he's single.
Edison hasn't forgotten his real boyfriend, though, so he quickly invited Oudi Fey over, who was quickly aged up.
OK, Edison, you're starting to get a little too obsessed with your mother at this point.
Thanks, Oudi - please distract your boyfriend now.
Edison! Britta!
Edison, you're the one in love with Oudi, and Britta, you're the one who wants grandchildren. That only happens one way...
Oudi: What have I gotten myself into?
I don't know, I really don't know.
That's a bit better.
Wow, look at Oudi and his official job with a helicopter. What is he, the mayor? We already have a mayor, Oudi!
Oudi is quite popular, apparently - you really got a good one, Edison.
Cynthia (
Lesyasun) does not approve of the noise.
BRITTA! SPACE!
You sure don't look happy to be giving him a raise, Cynthia. Oh, and apparently they're in the business career.
Britta, your wish is coming to come true soon!
Well, Edison is across from his mother, not his boyfriend, but at least Britta is talking to Oudi and not him.
See, you're much cuter when you're paying attention to Oudi.
Pop #2! I felt like drawing squiggly lines in case you missed it...
Britta is very excited by the currently non-existant baby bump. At least this is more appropriate behavior for her.
And now she'll have a physical grandchild to fawn over!
Meet Sarlo Perry, who inherited Oudi's skin color and Edison's hair and eye color.
He's a real cutie, ain't he?
And that's it for this growing and colorful family. As you might be able to notice in this picture, the family has finally moved to a bigger house, so we'll get to see that next week!
Notes:
- I like to think of their old house as the familial home, so I want a Perry child or grandchild to move into it at some point so that it stays in the family.
