The Lynch-Davis Family: Week Five

Mar 26, 2016 17:29

From the round-up of Week Four: Thanks to ROS, Luna became pregnant once again, this time thanks to an alien. Luna and Vanessa still love each other, though, and they had no problem showing that love. In between all that love, Vanessa took some of the children to their store and worked on going up another level. Lena was an adorable older sister before heading off to college. Twins Grant and Haven were adorable before becoming teenagers. Grant fell for the older Skylar Royal-Thatcher and defiled his mothers' bed in the process - when he wasn't getting into a fight with and losing to Darcy Wills, a townie brought home after school. Winslow grew up, as well as new alien baby, Carson.

small event: Family Day - invite over your known family members and their families
big event: nothing - the week goes on like normal

Seriously, this has to be my most adorable family in Sunset Bay - everyone just loves each other so much and are so cuddly!

It probably helps that they're raised by these PDA-loving two.

See? Even when their big sister leaves for the greener pastures of college and an adorably colorful house, her younger siblings haven't forgotten about her!

And now Haven has plenty of time to talk to her sister with an unexpected snow day.

Also unexpected: the synchronized elder birthdays of Vanessa and Luna...

That weird split second where Vanessa is old and Luna is still young.

See, they love each other so much that they've begun mimicking each other.

Luna: Wow, whoever gave me a makeover has no idea what they're doing! *giggles*
Hey! You didn't seem to mind it earlier!

Elder Luna, and...

...elder Vanessa, who both still look stunning, now with distinguished white hair.

Their love is just as strong as well.

And since they're a little busy, their children have to care for their garden.

He took a break a little too soon to go ask his mothers a question, though.

Well, maybe you should just LEAVE at this point, instead of standing there?

Smart boy.

Ooh, I like newsboy Cleve - perhaps he would like to become an official citizen at some point?

Someone brought the lovely Giselle Perry home with them - I'm going to pretend that she's a childhood friend since she lives just down the street from the Lynch-Davis household.

Isla Fey, meanwhile, wasn't such a welcome guest.

I would be very scared right now, Isla.

Never mind, maybe you shouldn't be all that scared.
Why did you hurt my poor baby, Isla?

Winslow: Mom, Mom, look at my grades! Look at all my pretty A+ grades!

Luna: Whoo, my son is a genius!

Luna: Yay!

MY BABIES ARE SO ADORABLE!

SEE?!

Vanessa couldn't care less that Carson technically isn't her son that's why this family is my favorite and there are so many pictures

Hmm, Isla actually gets along with Giselle - maybe that's a sign that something interesting could happen during the Perry week?

I just now noticed that Vanessa and Isla have the same outfit - oops.
Ignore that and focus on the family adorableness again.

Vanessa wants even more family adorableness, apparently.

See, sibling bonding over homework while Vanessa continues to play with her stepson!

This doesn't surprise me either.

These two finally took a break from each other to work on their garden. They didn't get a chance to head to the store this week because I forgot so they needed to focus on the garden as much as possible.

Is Isla asking for forgiven? I really can't tell based on Haven's reaction...

Winslow brought home the adorable Ashford Delaney.

Since they needed to invite family members over, Vanessa decided to throw a little birthday party for Winslow and Carson.

Jesse immediately made a beeline for his old fridge - he obviously still feels right at home.

Vanessa is determined to get everyone in a party mood, but she obviously isn't doing the best job with her brother.

Who cares - it's time for birthdays!

Yeah, it's great that you grew up well, but where is your blue hair?

Carson: *doesn't care*
Children.

What happened to poor Oudi?

Who cares - time for more birthdays!

He's so excited, isn't he?

Now he looks happier! He seems to approve of his longer limbs.

And guess who else is growing up - Ashford! He's too adorable not to join the dating pool.

I approve.

Haven snags her little brother for more adorable bonding before he can get back his proper hair color!

Popularity // Old Soul

Commitment Issues

Aw, these two really do seem to be happier together now that Delaina is older and Jesse has come back to life.

I'm officially in love with these two - you know, about three or four weeks after they first got together.

Winslow looks so happy about his killer party, doesn't he?

Despite all their wonderful family moments, I think this is their first family meal.

Oudi, what did Grant do to you?!

Winslow was quite impressed with Lucas Young, whom someone brought home from school.

Lucas seems to like Winslow right back.

Aw, his yellow shirt and Winslow's yellow skin go together so well, don't they? *ignores the fact that they're obviously two different shades of yellow*

I don't think I want to know what this conversation is about...

Lucas wants Winslow's tickles, not yours, random townie whose name I apparently forgot to write down!

Way to go, Oudi, you got the young ones sick. How does this hurt Grant?

Let me guess - this is how you're going to get him instead of sickness?
Lucas: Go, Winslow's older brother!

Yep, it's Oudi.

You shouldn't have messed with Grant - he might be an adorable older brother, but he can dish it out, apparently.

The darkness makes him look about 100% creepier.

Haven: Hey, that's not yours! You are OBVIOUSLY related to that horrid Isla!
Well, they do have the same last name and came from the same pool of teen townies...

Ignore the Samara pop-up - this picture has only one purpose: to show the adorable Carson in his ADORABLE bunny slippers.

Look who came to visit her old home!

Aw, what's wrong, my adorable baby?

Lena: My family is falling apart without me, aren't they?
I can see why you might think that, but they're actually doing pretty well right now, Grant's attempt to break his neck by breaking the fridge door aside.

Winslow: I know I should think they're gross or something, but it's nice to see my old parents still being gross together.
You're a good son. *pats Winslow on his little, mother-loving head*

Unfortunately, we're going to have to say goodbye to some of our best adorable-family-moment sims - Haven and Grant are headed off to college!

Winslow: I guess it's up to us to carry the "adorable family moments" torch!
Carson: Um, excuse me, but who are you?

Winslow: I'm your brother!
Carson: No, my wonderful siblings are all blond! Get away from me, you yellow freak!
No, I want my adorable family moments! Don't make me regret sending the twins off to college!

Will the family fall apart without Amazing Siblings Haven and Grant (plus Lena)? We'll have to wait and find out...

Notes:
- Haven and Grant are now at the same dorm as their cousin, Olivia Taylor-Davis. They'll probably be up first at the beginning of Week 6, but we'll have to wait and see.
- It's really sad how much I keep forgetting Carson and Winslow's names. I had to check my own directory multiple times to figure out their names. Hopefully they'll get more interesting now that Haven, Grant, and Lena aren't keeping my attention. I might have them both stay at the Lynch-Davis house and see if either can grow on me instead of making them into a new household I have to worry about. Of course, I still have time before I have to decide that.
- I don't remember if there was a reason that Oudi and Grant started fighting - maybe it has something to do with competing over who has the more interesting, warm-colored skin? Although I just checked out their last update and saw that Grant also got into a fight with Darcy Wills, so maybe it's just Grant?
