The Perry Family II: Week Four

Dec 05, 2015 21:52

From the round-up of Week Three, this is what happened in the Perry household last time: Jules was quite scary after she caught her husband cheating on her in public, but she mostly channeled her anger toward their next-door-neighbor, the poor llama; Jules and Joel slowly repaired their marriage, though, and were able to scar their children like good sims; Jules opened up The Jewelbox, a coffee shop, where Joel helped out and Trinity Royal was hired, although they all did a bad enough job to get to a -1 ranking; the quads grew up and were adorable as well as genetically different, at least somewhat; and Remy came to stay with her father, meeting the adorable Percy Quigley while there.

small event: day out - take every eligible sim on your lot to a community lot and have fun
big event: nothing - the week goes on like normal

Since things were so crowded in their old duplex, the Perry household moved to a bigger apartment next door (a madeover Bella's Townhouses). It's nice and colorful, which is perfect for a colorful family!

Jules and Ashlyn certainly enjoy it - either that or they're trying to keep busy so that they don't have to enter their mostly-empty new home.

Joel quickly gets to work earning some money so that they can afford basic things like beds and couches for everyone to sleep. Ah, the simple things in Sim life.

Their lovely new home quickly devovled into violence.

What lovely new neighbors you have, Perrys.

Ashford Delaney is one of their new, non-violent neighbors (perhaps because he's still an adorable, innocent little child?) - he also fits in with the colorful theme as well.

Camille is adorable as well, glitchy hair and all.

Even though Joel is out in public and at work, he thinks waiting tables is also the perfect time to angst about his various affairs.
Amy Diaz: I just wanted to get a cup of coffee, not listen to all your many sins...

Things went further downhill that day...

Uma Harris is a pretty Sim, but she's also a mean critic! We don't need this bad review - we're already in the negatives!

Sad Jules is sad. But still colorful.

Delaina is a good mayor who doesn't care if this restaurant has a bad review - she's going to support local businesses no matter what!

Um, maybe she shouldn't...

Yeah, we didn't need this. YOU TWO SHOULDN'T RUN A RESTAURANT!

As soon as they got back, they randomly waved at each other. Are things still awkward after all the affairs and public displays of affection with ex-wives?

*sigh* And they said this was such a nice neighborhood, too.
And look all the nice, innocent children - already getting into fights, no matter how light-hearted they might seem. *sigh x2*

Obviously, they've finally smoothed things out.

A genie is just what we need - MONEY!
Maybe the children can actually sleep in beds now, rather than the oh-so-comfy floor.

And then we go back to the violence.
Joel obviously cares so much that his wife is being smacked.

Quadruple birthday time!

Camille immediately shows how mature she is by giving her sister a noogie.

Andre
Family // Natural Cook

Hugh
Romance // Foodie

Camille (still with the glitchy hair) apparently finds her new makeup quite amusing.

Camille
Popularity // Adventorous

Ashlyn
Pleasure // Hot-Tempered

Their blue half-siblings also showed up for their weekend with their father, adding even more color!

I might have a new favorite - she doesn't even have glitchy hair!

Giselle is happy that she can finally begin to bond with her half-siblings - this is her first weekend with her father - oh, the milestones!

Joel is a little distracted at the moment, though, and doesn't notice his daughters' arrival.

Andre seems a bit intrigued by Olivia Taylor-Davis...

...while Olivia might be a little more interested in Hugh. Really, right in front of Andre?

That's better.

Things quickly progress and are adorable, as romance tends to be.

Hugh, if you get everyone else sick, you are dead to me.

That's better.

Joel finally remembers that his daughters are there and gets to bonding with them. More adorableness ensues.

*glares*

Luckily, she was quickly cured with good ol' Grandma's Comfort Soup and grew up nice and healthy!
Fortune // Workaholic

There was a lot of sickness going around this week, but they always had some soup to fix things.
Also, Edison randomly showed up - maybe he missed his sisters?

*is adorable*
*I promise to stop saying adorable*

Remy leaves the warm embrace of her two families to head off to college with her fellow new young adults.

And that's it for the second Perry household this week! They're large and colorful, but they still try to get together for family dinners (and posing this large brood was next to impossible and really frustrating)!

Notes:
- At the end of the week, one of Joel's wants was for another baby. Because six children just isn't enough, huh?
- Seriously, does anyone know why some hairs start randomly glitching? It's getting really annoying.
- The Bella's Townhouse makeover is my own, but I think it might be based off of one I saw on Tumblr or Livejournal, so let me know if you know who that might be, and I'll add the credit!
