- the production cometh!
It's time for some positive thinking! Even though I'm pessimistic in general! 'Cos I'd have to act as JOY, and if I don't get in character I might as well smash myself against the remnant of the Twelve Apostles, or jump off the London Bridge.
Little homework - all the better!
Now, try not to think too much about the technical stuff. Just remember:
to collect your jade beads at stage right;
who to face when speaking each and every one of your lines;
to collect your hat when you exit;
to get the tableu right;
to get the curtain calls right;
to get your lines right;
and most importantly:
Remember to create THE ATMOSPHERE OF JOY! The whole show is on you! Even though you have the least screen time you have the largest bearing on the show! YOU MAKE OR BREAK THE SHOW, HON YEE JOY! <3
ALL THE BEST TO EVERYONE IN THE PRODUCTION! YOU'LL MAKE IT!
And everybody do go watch! I know it's a bit late to tell you so, but if you can make it do watch! Friday and Saturday, 7.30 pm!
