With his nice personality, for Colby Granger, it was not hard to make friends. In high school, college and later in the army, he always had a group of friends to go out with for a movie or a few drinks.
Starting the FBI job that included also the undercover stint, Colby didn’t want to get too close to his new team; but his friendly character was stronger than his willpower, so he ended having the whole team as an extended family.
After the whole “Janus event,” Don gave him a second chance, but this didn’t mean everything was back to normal. Colby wanted his friends back and he had to work hard to regain their trust, especially David’s. He tried to thank David for saving his life, but David dismissed him; he wanted to go out with David for a stakeout, but Don volunteered to go with him instead. It was a hard battle, but Colby was determined to win it. He learned a lot of things during the last months, but one lesson he would never forget: “do not take friendship for granted.”
