So yesterday my coworker and I were taking a walk next door for a coffee during our break when we noticed something very strange... at 10:30 am... the Ikea parking lot was completely empty. Hmmm. And then we noticed police driving around... also weird. But we figured it was still early maybe they were doing some sort of check or something... like

I didn't find out until today that the suspects had ties to the Madrid bombing. Somehow that makes things much more disturbing and real. I'm surprised they didn't evacuate your office, as well. I'm glad it all seems to have turned out ok.

I was living and working in NYC on September 11th and I remember being much more scared the day after. I'm sure it's for the best that people can stay calm during a situation, and not unexpected that once you've had time to think more about it that you become a bit more worried.
