Pilgrimage
I definitely wasn't looking forward to this weekend...but it's ended up being a ton of fun. It's the Salvation Army's Annual Pilgrimage where all the officers come to camp...and I was put in charge of the kids program. It's been a blast. The kids are so fun and LOVE playing outside! We took 'em to the Creek Bed today to play and found a new waterfall (one that you can climb up and slide down) :) oh can't wait to go back again!
I also got a chance to ride my 4 wheeler down the Orange trail to the little river...and caught a box turtle! woo hoo!
It's been pretty great only working about 6 hours a day...instead of 16.
Family camp is going to be a bit rougher. Right now I have about 18 kids in my class...next week I'll have 47. SCARY.
Mom and Dad are coming down next Saturday to hang out! That'll be fun and I'll get to show 'em around!...plus hike the orange trail!
