Yeah, so teen camp is here and it's wonderful! There's only 45 campers (which compared to the 110 we had last week) and we're back to a normal schedule..which is FANTASTIC!
Highlights of this week...our band gets to play again! It's WONDERFUL. We're back to normal evening meetings...again..WONDERFUL. Yesterday Marcos had us do an impromptu church service...probably one of the most powerful services I've been to in a long time. Lucy and Nathaniel are HILARIOUS...and I'm so glad I get to hang out with them pretty much every day.
So here's something big. I'm completely trained on high ropes...yet for some reason last week I couldn't bring myself to get out on the course...and I have no idea why. I just freaked and I was shaking like crazy. However, today I got up there, and on the course with no problem. I completed 2 elements plus the zipline without shaking. No idea what my problem was last week. Anyway, when we came off the course I was walking back with Hadeed, Hannah, and David...and managed to fall flat on my face and twist my ankle. lol..eh well..it gave everyone a good laugh.
Plus we have a kid here that looks exactly like Harry Potter...and that's just cool
Can't wait til Thursday. After everything is done we're taking the staff out for Pizza and a movie. then on Monday everyone is going to Holiday World Splashin' Safari! Soooo nice!
So yeah, things are going much better than last week. Very happy about that. And I am looking forward to moving into my new apartment on the 15th of August. (so those of you in the area...it's party time!)
But for now, I need to go get some sleep. G'night all!
