State of Alexis Blog Entry: 07/15/2008
(-) Found out early this morning that Fr. Santos Mena, SJ passed away in Spain. That really made me sad, because when he was still assigned here in Manila, we'd hear the 9AM Mass at Mary the Queen Parish and he'd be the celebrant. That was ever since I was little (as far back as I can remember going to Mass). He was a really great man, and he'll be missed. RIP Father. :( At least He's with God now.
(-) Getting a little stressed out with everything that's going on. It's like I've been idling away for a while and now things I have to do are piling on. Long tests are being scheduled (oh God), orgs are getting busy, we have that Fil11 play... I'm trying to keep my head above water, but it's a losing battle. Dammit, I can do this! This is what ICA trained me for. :P
(-) My En12/Lit13 probably wonders what the hell I'm doing in his class. Everytime he calls on me, I don't know the answer, so I make it up as I go along and it's obvious that I'm just trying to bullshit my way through it. When I do know the right answer...he doesn't call me. Typical. Good times.
(-) Scanned my laptop for viruses last night. Within 9 minutes of scanning, the program had found thirteen threats. Jeez. I really need to be more careful.
(+) I beat Diggy and Dav in pusoy dos, HAHA! What an achievement. :))
(+) Hung out with Ai today during break and we talked the whole time. I miss not having my high school friends within easy reach.
Epic!Fail Moment of Today: Insisting on wearing Havaianas to school ('cause today's one of the few days in the week that I can) against the advice of my mom and getting my feet wet from the puddles on Red Brick Road.
FTW! Moment of Today: Passing Chinoy writing tryouts. (No, Mom, this wasn't because of who Ahia is. At least I don't think it is.)
Random Realization of Today: I have several missing pairs of jeans. I asked around the house about it, and apparently they're still in San Francisco. No wonder I've only been wearing my fat days pants! Those are the only pairs I have here with me.
