Previously on Alexis' life...
1. I've been a little under the weather lately. I think I was sickest on Thursday, when I could barely keep my eyes open during Ma11 (more than usual, haha) and I spent my 9-10:30 break between Ma11 and Fil11 in the Rizal Lib annex sleeping. That helped a lot, and I was fairly alert during Fil, managing to get an 11/10 on my quiz. :D
2. Speaking of the Rizal Lib, that has become my hangout this past week, and probably continuing on in the weeks to come, because of all the work our En12 prof has been giving us. Seriously, I don't think he is aware of how much he's making us do. That's one reason I haven't been blogging, too - I've been trying to get everything done while getting rest to recover from my cold and taking Saturday night off to go to Roxi's debut (yeap, cold and all :P). I prefer to take the high road on this one - complain, and then just get everything he wants us to do done.
3. Another reason why I haven't been blogging is because I got some sort of virus on my poor laptop that kept Firefox from opening certain sites - sites I consider crucial to my day-to-day existence like Multiply and Yahoo! Mail. Luckily my brother fixed it, so yay!
4. Roxi's debut was last night and it was probably the most extravagant debut I've ever been to. It was great seeing all my high school friends again - I probably talked the whole time. :)) I loved seeing the people who never text me to let me know they're visiting from UP, and also some DLSU people as well... Even people who go to Ateneo and I don't see on a day-to-day basis. It was so fun to catch up and trade funny anecdotes and discuss love lives. I'VE MISSED YOU ALL. And a happy, happy birthday to Roxi, who is one of the sweetest people I've ever met. I'm happy for you! :)
5. I'm getting busy. En12 is taking over my life, and I have a Ma11 long test coming up, and debut after debut after debut. Plus my orgs are making their presence felt - I have the ACOMM GA on Friday, Celadon on Saturday, and AJMA the following Friday. Good luck to me. :))
6. I really like my new hair. :))
7. My research paper for En12 is about Chinese Filipinos, so I took some books out from the library (the self-checkout machine is so cool, HAHA) and hunted around the house for more material on the subject. I've basically been reading those books and taking down notes on index cards the whole weekend, and everything I've been reading has just made me really proud and thankful of my heritage. :)
