you never know with nuns...
There is a carnival being erected in my street as we speak. Like, I had to hop off my bike on my way home because there's a merry-go-round in the intersection. That kind of carnival.
I also live across the street from a convent and Catholic church. It's Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, and apparently it's her feast day sometime soon. Thus, 10 days of carnival. Now, I'm kind of new to feast days in general, but 10 days strikes me as a lot more than one feast DAY.
Ah well, only in new york. It's running from the 12-22, come on by! My building is right behind the Tornado.
