in the pond....
I've had a whirlwind of a visit to seattle and picked up all of my shit. Thank you to all who came through to help me in so many ways there! There was mad visiting and some crazy parties and dinners and breakfasts out....
I had a very chill, quiet drive up to vancouver last night and crawled into jenny's bed to giggle with her. Thank you jenny! She is now the proud owner of the fabulous marzipan buddhas I got in toronto....
Today I made my way to find emma all hyped up with 4 zillion wine boxes packed up with her stuff. We headed over to our new place and many friends showed up to help us schlep. The May street crew, all folks who had lived in my old place on may street at one time or another were our hardcore awesome team and others came to ooh and aah at our new place and eat thai take-out together.
My fabulous ex put my bed together and I gathered sheet and comforters and pillows to put on it. I had some serious realizations and practically shrieked as I filled my pillowcases.... My own bed, my own spot to nest in with a window looking out onto our lovely back yard. sigh..... The ladies were here to witness a couple tears...
And I'm even scamming some free wireless from the bed now, listening to some lovely trance-y music.....
