weaning.......
So I linked my little power cord to AG's big power cord for the mac laptops when I was at her place. When I took them apart to pack I wondered where my little 2 prong plug was... and thought probably in the wire bag of doom. You know... the travelling bag of cords and wires you need to live with all of the toys and important bits of electronic life.
Well it wasn't in there. Which meant once the laptop showed us a bunch of photos of my trip... it was done. Yesterday we realized there was a teenage friend's ipod charger in the house with the 2 prong chummy. But for whatever reason (it looks a bit shaky) it won't charge the laptop. Alhthough for a while it would turn the little green light on and allow me to use it... (although no wireless ha ha)
SO I'm too cheap to go buy a new one. and am hoping tomorrow AG will bring mine to the airport in toronto. or jenny will have one in van, or my other bag of technology will have my other 3prong wire in seattle... or the 4 zillion mac users there will take pity on me and let me charge my baby.
So sharing a computer (a cute g5) with 5 other people (including teenagers who make movies and use limewire) means limited action... and no iming... no chatting at all... cause i'm trying to cut back. And spend time outside.... and read..... and make delicious meals from scratch. and walk in the forest..... and talk with my friends in person.....
I may or may not be needing to check perez hilton every day though....
