I love having a life even at home in li'l ole Bossier City. Friday night I went to the "soft opening" of Saddle Ridge (the new country bar here at the Boardwalk). I met Jaime, Chris, Lisa and some other chick from work at around 10 p.m. and we danced, drank and talked on the patio. That place is totally kick ass and knocks every other club in this area on its ass.
Yesterday my daddy and I had one of our "dates" and he took me to eat at Notinis (yummy!). Then I watched some cheesy TV until around 8:30 p.m. when I had to get ready to go to the FUnny Bone. The plan was to meet a few more people from work (including Charlie, my boss) at the Red River District to go see the famous "hypnotist" there. We got VIP seats because the hypnotist is a guest of Clear Channel and is a really nice guy. His name is Ricky Keller. Anyway, we had some drinks before the show and then it was time for the fun to begin. I, being the daredevil that I am, volunteered (along with 12 others) to get hypnotized on stage. Boy was I in for a trip--a hiliarious one at that! From what I hear (I have no recollection of what happened while I was 'under') the hypnotist made me think there was a vibrator in my pocket and everytime he would say "Saturday" the vibrations would get more intense. HAHAHAHAHA My coworkers told me that by the end of the 3rd "Saturday" I was practically falling out of my chair. ;) hahaha
Then he hypnotized us gals (there were 3 of us up there) into thinking that we were part of the "World Orgasm Finals" and we had to perform our "orgasms" on stage. I am guessing from the tons of guys coming up to me after the show saying how "I'm going to make some guy very happy one day" that I won the contest. My boss said that screamed out "Ay Papi" hahahahaha....Only Scott is supposed to know I do that during sex! OMG!
Well at the end of the show, he put us back "under" and said that when he counted backwards from 10 to 1 we would awaken and feel completely refreshed, however, we would feel "glued" to the chair and not be able to get out of our seats until he shook our hands and thanked us for participating. Because the joke is ALWAYS on me, he shook everyone's hand on stage EXCEPT mine and then proceeded to put his arm around me and tell the audience "ok, show's over, go home." hahaha. I'm sitting there confused as to where everyone else went and why I was left up there glued to my seat. From what I hear, I had a really sad look on my face and started telling him I really wanted to go home. HAHA so he shook my hand and walked me off stage. It was hilarious when I finally "woke up." I NEVER knew that hypnosis really worked, but what Lisa and Charlie said, I was completely unconcious of what was going on, except when he told me specifically what to do. I love being the butt of the joke! It's great!
