I must admit that most of our house is decidedly un-saucy.  It's a work in progress, and a lot of work remains to be done.
The dining room ceiling, however, is our pride and joy.  It photographed marvelously in our engagement photos.

I'm hoping someone in this community can help me- we moved into a house with the dreaded popcorn ceilings. They are just awful! While I have dreams of being able to afford having them removed or lowering the ceiling, I am hoping that there is some shortterm solution to improving them (something DIY crafty.) i just moved into my apartment and one of my major problems i'm having is trying to figure what to do with the vaulted ceilings in my bedroom. the bare look isn't working for me, it feels cold. does anyone have pictures of what they've come up with in their own places? maybe lighting suggestions or any suggestions? thanks!!! :)

I have a plain boring ceiling that’s in need of some paint, or something to spice it up and also match the wall paint. Only problem is painting it is REALLY hard since it’s that textured stuff! So, I need any ideas for painting or just making my ceiling look better! Any ideas what so ever are appreciated! ^___^

I'm in the midst of a house project-- painting everything, ditching the nasty carpet and putting Pergo like faux-wood floors in and putting slate in place of the horribly outdated brown and gold 70s tile around our woodstove.
