Newbie intro, bedroom pics w/ Behr Venetian Plaster

Hi!  Found this community thanks to  sonatamoonlite.  I live in Old Hickory, TN (just outside of Nashville) and I bought a new house in May.  I'm diligently working my way through fixing the bare white walls in here, so here's the most complete room in the house:

Now to get some art on these bare walls and some curtains up (I'm thinking about either burgundy or black (or both) sheer panels...not sure yet, though.  Any suggestions on colors for the sheers would be great!)

More house pics will be posted as I get more rooms where I'm relatively happy with them.  I've got one more to paint, now, and then it's hanging artwork, etc.

Sorry about the blurry pics, I'm still learning about all of the little "best shot selector" features on my new camera.

I do have a question for anyone who has used the stained glass "Artscapes" window cling decals that are available at Home Depot.  I have a window in my office that is 35" x 72", and I would love to put the Amber Glass or the Versailles simple opaque pattern with the gothic-style crosshatching on this window; however, I can't figure out how on earth the sizes available for these decals would work on this window.  Has anyone used those transfers on a window that was much larger than the transfers (the transfers are 24x36).  If so, how hard was it to cut them to fit together for the larger size?  I'm afraid of having a hard time matching seams, and I hate to spend $40 on the stuff and start cutting into it and then hate it.

Thanks!
