My bedroom
Hi Everyone. I share my room with my fiancé. I am very lucky that he has allowed me to do whatever I've wanted to our bedroom. I had originally chosen a wallpaper with pink roses all over it (that's now going my dressing room) but I think the blue toile pattern we've got is ever so calming and not too girly!
Our bed is from the 1950s. Bedside tables from the wonderful Ikea!
The old chest under the window is antique and we keep spare bedding, blankets etc in it.
I adore the fireplace in our room - was papered over when we moved in (to keep out the cold, I think) but I couldn't bear for it to be hidden away and painted it in a similar colour blue to the wallpaper pattern. The chair was originally given to my mum and stepdad by his parents - it was from a hotel they owned in the 1970s.
I have always wanted a proper dressing table. The vanity case is vintage and the dressing table set was my Grandmother's.
I have an addiction to pearls!
I have had this lamp since I was five years old, my mum and stepdad brought it back for me when they went on their honeymoon. It's lived in every bedroom I've had. I made the shade myself.
