WORKER'S RIGHTS YAAAAAAAY
Also I've been playing video games, as usual.
Devil Survivor: Continues to be amazing. I'm trying to get the good ending without a strategy guide, but maybe I'll just settle for becoming the Demon King and enslaving humanity! Good times.
Saved Keisuke. Aww, poor guy. I imagine him as having stress-induced facial ticks and twitching all the time. Boy needs therapy (or Atsuro's LUUUUUUV.)
Tales of Vesperia: A friend lent it to me, and I love it! This is basically what Star Ocean 4 should have been. I love this game's obsession with providing explainations for all the game mechanics that other RPGs just ignore. How do tents work? Why build a town in an untraversable desert? Why can Karol use his bag to beat up monsters? IT IS ALL EXPLAINED!
I also love the way the game puts so much thought into character relationships. Unlike RPGs where some party members never talk to one another. I know how everyone interacts with everyone else, and that is really cool. I am particularly juiced about Rita and Estelle's happy friendship. Also, I have pretty much never liked a canon(?) main couple as much as I like Yuri/Estelle. Like, I don't even know if they're going to end up unambiguously getting together, as this is a JRPG, but I really hope they do. They actually relate to one another as human beings! They have conversations on various topics! They work well as a team! *_* Sorry, Flynn. You are clearly gay for Yuri, but for once, that is just not good enough.
Real Life: Wait, I have one of these?
Well, I'm going back to school on Wednesday! I'm pretty pumped about it, as I love higher learning. This semester's courses include two Women's Studies, an English course about feminist lit that is pretty much Women's Studies too, and the best elective ever: Weimar and Nazi Germany! At least it'll probably be less depressing than the actual Holocaust course UVic offers.
