Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday, both online and in real life! So far my gifts have mainly consisted of money and a complete Puccini CD box set. And we went out to dinner at a stunningly hip resturaunt (which has really good food.)
Also, tonight I played Rock Band! I was Rinanna, lead singer of the exciting new band The Jenova Project, who seem to do an utterly kickass rendition of Dani California. Fake rocking out is fun.
The only thing that kind of bothers me about the game is the weight bar. I wanted my character to look at least vaguely like me, but the heaviest you can get is curvaceous with a thin waist and not fat by any strech of the imagination. But whatever. You do what you can.
Maybe at some point I will post about all the books I read while we were camping.
So that seems to be about it, the life of Rachel is pretty chill right now. Back to work tomorrow!
