Okay, whatever drugs the animators were on when they made this ending, somehow all the wackiness and 'we completely pulled this out of our asses' managed to keep itself fairly explanitory and plausible.
The Good: Rose. Dante and Hoenhiem and rotting from the inside. Sloth evaporating. The breakdown of equivalent trade. Roy's choice to take matters into his own hands, and the concequences. Armstrong. The lesbian paradise at the end.
The Bad: Greed eating Dante- how much sense does that make? Hawkeye with her *hair* down peeling *apples.* Were we too greedy, series? Did we want too many strong female characters that weren't Girlfriends Mothers And Wives? Oh, well. At least she didn't cry. She'll be back to her old self soon enough.
The WTF: Robo-Vampyre-Archer. Tucker, again, for no reason. The ending. Dante appearing to think that the Elrics were in love with Rose. Wrath suddenly developing a mama complex. The ending. Gluttony suddenly apparently being in love with Lust. Envy's true form. The ending.
DID I MENTION WHAT THE HECK WAS GOING ON WITH THAT ENDING?
Hah, Ed and Hoenhiem drop names like it's going out of style. Poor baby. No worries. Soon, like Hitomi, Miaka, and various other shoujo heroines, a mystical light will transport you to another world where you can win the affections of many eligible bachelors! Including your brother.
Last thoughts: Really, I stopped scaring when Scar died. Except Panina. Panina/Winly OTFP.
